INTRODUCTION
These general conditions apply to participants in DEVON KING’S MEGA MILLIONAIRE PROMO.
By participating in this competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions of the contest.
1.The Promoter is PZ WILMAR LTD.
This contest is open to all consumers in Nigeria whether from Traditional Open Market, E-Commerce Store, SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS (FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER, AND TIKTOK), YOUTUBE and/or modern trade outlets.
Directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of PZ WILMAR LTD, the marketing service providers of any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are exempted.
2. This offer is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook or any other medium used for promoting it.
PROMOTIONAL
The promotion will begin on the 12TH OF APRIL, 2023 and end on the 26th OF MAY, 2023. The contest is only valid for this period within Nigeria geographical area.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
1.The promotion will be open to Nigerian residents aged 18 years and above.
2.Consumers buy at least a bottle of DEVON KING’S 1L or 2L Cooking Oil.
3.Check the bottles for a scratch panel, scratch it for a UNIQUE PIN.
4.Send the UNIQUE PIN to a short code (8011) using a keyword e.g. KINGS<SPACE>UNIQUE PIN.
5.Participants can enter the promo multiple times provided they enter a new and unique code each time.
6.Participants may win instant airtime or/and receive a prompt notification of their entry for E-Raffle draw.
7.The E-Raffle will be done at the end of a 7-day cycle for CASH PRIZES ranging from N5,000 to N1,000,000; check communication materials for the prizes.
8.Cash prize winners will be rewarded when they send a short video with partially used or empty bottle showing the already scratched panel or the exposed winning UNIQUE PIN to confirm whether the PIN is the same as the one on our database; a dedicated WhatsApp number will be made available for the collation.
9.The short videos will also be used as contents for the weekly amplification/buzz.
10.The promo will be opened to consumers who purchase via any trade channel; traditional open market, modern trade (supermarkets) and e-commerce.
11.Participants can submit multiple entries but are only eligible to win the raffle draw only once during of the campaign.
12.The DEVON KING’S Nigeria team reserves the sole right to disqualify any participant that does not abide by the terms and condition. The team has the right to refuse any participant at its absolute discretion, if the pin being shown in the video is different from the one selected during the e-raffle draw, or entry is forged or reconstructed.
13.PZ WILMAR LTD shall not be responsible for any scam or internet fraud.
14.By entering the contest, the participant relinquishes all rights to images, or any content provided. And PZ WILMAR LTD will have free hand to use it for any amplification as deemed fit.
15.The images of the winners or entrants of the competition may be used for any necessary brand amplification.
16.Any declaration or announcement of Winners by the DEVON KING’S Nigeria team shall be final and uncontested.
17.Winners of the contest will be announced on the DEVON KING’S Nigeria social media pages. Winners will be contacted through any of the following platforms; email, telephone numbers, Instagram & facebook account. The names of the winners, once contacted, will be published on social platforms or newspapers.
18.All winners will be required to provide proof of their names, a valid ID and contact details. Phone number MUST tally with the one used to enter for the promotion.
19.Cash prizes at the point of payment will be less of 7.5% VAT. PZ WILMAR LTD cannot be held liable for the 7.5% VAT payment to the Government by the winner(s).
20.All cash prize winners are expected to provide valid bank accounts once their entries have been validated.
21. PZ WILMAR LTD. will make the cash prizes available for redemption within 3 months of winning.
22.Cash prizes not redeemed within 90 days after the draw has ended will be forfeited by the winner.
23.Staff of PZ WILMAR, PZgroup, Bloow48, Onewildcard, WithoutABox, Carat and other third-party agencies will not be eligible to participate in this promotion; these will be classified as “Disqualified Participants”.
Note: Offers not sponsored by PZ WILMAR LTD; entering service sites or any other automated means and entries by any means that subvert the entry process or do not conform to the terms or spirit of these contest rules, will void the entry, and may disqualify the entrant.
PARTICIPATION CRITERIA
Products purchase must be any of the DEVON KING’S 1L or 2L Cooking Oil has a unique number printed on its labels.
POST EVENT PUBLICITY
24. All winners can be used for editorial, advertising, or promotional, research and profiling purposes without further compensation or liability.
25. PZ WILMAR LTD reserves the right to use the images taken of the winner for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without further remuneration being made payable to the winner.
26. The participants consent to the processing of personal data and post event publicity in connection with the participation in the contest. PZ WILMAR LTD may add the personal information to its database, provide personal data to third parties involved in the promotion (including but not limited to suppliers, advertisers, and sponsors etc.)
GENERAL
27. PZ WILMAR LTD shall have the right to change or terminate the contest immediately and without notice. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this contest and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against PZ WILMAR LTD or its agents.
28. Neither PZ WILMAR LTD, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers nor employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant.
29. The DEVON KING’S MEGA MILLIONAIRE Promo shall not be used for any unlawful, illegal, obscene, or abusive purpose.
30. PZ WILMAR LTD has the right to use pictures and any material submitted for the purpose of this contest for marketing purposes after the duration of the campaign.
31. If one or more of these terms and conditions are void and invalid, this will not affect the validity of the remaining conditions.
